One Image Wednesday – delicately rugged

I took this with my Pen-F digital using 45mm M Zuiko 1.8 lens attached. I love this camera and lens combo and it’s what I shoot when going digital 90% of the time. I bought this lens for portrait work but found it a great focal length for much of what I like to photograph.

The photo here was taken at Tintagel which is situated on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, England and is the reputed site of King Arthur’s legendary castle Camelot.

There are the remains of a castle at the site but that is a much later 13th-century construction. We visited Tintagel in June with our friends who live just up the coast it’s a lovely area and well worth going to.

I liked this image of small delicate looking flowers clinging to a clifftop with the rugged Cornish coast in the background
