One Image Wednesday – Lean in

Another phot taken with the new to me Voigtländer Perkeo II which was kindly sold to me by Peggy

I took this at Wollaton Hall, Gardens and Deer Park in Nottingham. It’s an interesting old house situated on the top of a hill on the South West side of the City. The inside of the hall is dedicated to being a natural history museum which though small boasts some significant exhibits and some cutting edge interactive technology. It’s been a museum since the 1920s and was refurbished in 2007. It was also used as Wayne Manor in the 2011 Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises with Christian Bale – Trivia note: The Hall is situated a few miles North of Nottinghamshire; which is believed to be the source of the name Gotham City.

I took this photo mostly due to the strange lean on the figure in the foreground – he looks like he could easily fall over.

  1. I am so glad you finally got it and it is getting some use. I was at Wollaton recently too, small world.
