One Image Wednesday – Abstract

I missed last weeks post; mainly due to being too busy having resigned my job of nearly 20 years – new job starting soon 🙂

I shot this a month or so ago using my Mamiya C330 and some nice Portra 400 that I got as a Christmas gift (the film not the camera).

We went to a coffee tasting session of a friend of ours who is opening a coffee shop and so I brought my beast along to see if I could get some nice images.

As I was walking through the room I noticed this part of a short stairwell caught in the sunlight creating quite an array of shadows and linear shapes. This kind of thing speaks to me and so I captured it.

I’m pretty pleased with how it came out. This kind of subsect matter can be quite subjective (no pun intended) and is not for everyone; what are your thoughts? Do you like it?
