Took a weekend down near Carlsbad California a week or two ago that visited The Flower Fields.
They open it up to the public every Spring and let you wander around getting beautiful pictures of the field full of flowers. The also set up little Instagram spots with well placed seats or other photo worthy items to get your perfect Instagram moments.
We were only there an hour or so and I will share a set of images from here later in the week. In the meantime here is one image of perfect flowers…

Beautiful! I’ve been taking a lot of photos of flowers lately. The cherry blossoms on the waterfront are off the hook. In a week or two the tulips should be in full bloom at Wooden Shoe Farm. I hope to go down there and take some pics!

Thanks. The Flower Fields are quite amazing, flowers as far as you can see. You just have to try to exclude the large numbers of people wandering around.

Yeah, that’s a toughie. This is where fast lenses to get shallow depths of field come in handy. Or try to go at the less busy times.
