I have two almost identical cameras from Voigtländer and decided to write a review of both of them in a kind of side-by side comparison.

The article has just gone live on 35mmc and I would love for you to go check it out.

The cameras are the Zeiss Icon Voigtländer 500 SE Electronic and the Zeiss Icon Voigtländer 1000 SR; both compact 35mm cameras from the mid-century era.

I like both of them for different reasons but, if I had to choose, I think the 1000 win overall in my mind; either fit comfortably in a (large) pocket.

(Hmm maybe that means they fit uncomfortably in a regular pocket?…. Whatever they aren’t huge bulky cameras and they would be good for outings and travel is what I am suggesting)
